Tom Miller

Tom Miller (artist name Miller) is a recent graduate of UWE where he studied Drawing and Applied Arts. Having now finished his course, he is keen to experiment further with the way paint and other material can be applied to and experienced on a flat surface.

Miller’s work primarily consists of mixed media paintings, constantly interchanging between acrylics, oils, inks, collage and spray paint. He uses these media to craft scenes and depictions of his envisioned version of life, transforming reality using reference from photos, sculpture and life to help create his world.

Interested in the organic nature of thought and its manifestations in our physical world, Miller draws influence from all aspects of experiencing life, and heavy artistic influence from lowbrow to baroque to contemporary mural painting and the Bristol graffiti scene.
